As Branch Vice President and Sales Manager of the Weichert, Realtors® Aspen Hill and Leisure World offices, Valerie Huffman brings more than 45 years of real estate experience and decades of proven leadership in real estate sales management, agent training, coaching, mentoring, office growth, and professional development throughout the Maryland, Washington D.C., and Virginia real estate markets.

A licensed REALTOR® with over 45 years of experience, Valerie’s career has included leadership roles across residential real estate sales, branch management, regional leadership, real estate education, and agent development. Throughout her career, Valerie has served as a licensed sales associate, sales manager, director of education, regional vice president, instructor, certified mentor, and real estate coach, giving her a uniquely well-rounded perspective on what it takes to build a successful and sustainable real estate career.

Valerie has spent more than 30 years with Weichert, Realtors®, a company whose value proposition closely aligns with her own belief that “People buy people before they buy a product or service.” This philosophy has shaped Valerie’s approach to real estate leadership, client relationships, agent coaching, team development, and long-term business success.

Under Valerie’s leadership, the Weichert, Realtors® Aspen Hill and Leisure World team has achieved the #1 market share in the Leisure World community, specializing in real estate services for those 55 and older. The team is highly experienced in serving senior homeowners, downsizing clients, retirees, active adult communities, Leisure World residents, and families navigating age-specific real estate decisions with care, professionalism, and local market expertise.

In addition to serving the Leisure World and Aspen Hill communities, Valerie and the Aspen Hill team provide real estate services throughout Silver Spring, Rockville, Olney, Gaithersburg, Bethesda, Potomac, Burtonsville, Hyattsville, Montgomery County, Prince George’s County, Howard County, and communities throughout Maryland.

Valerie holds the SRES® designation as a Senior Real Estate Specialist, further strengthening her ability to support agents and clients working with senior real estate needs, 55+ communities, downsizing transitions, retirement communities, and age-specific housing decisions. Valerie is also a GRI — Graduate, REALTOR® Institute, a Buffini & Company Peak Producers Instructor, a Certified Mentor, and an instructor with GCAAR — the Greater Capital Area Association of REALTORS®.
